The Romanian counties that are located within Transylvania include Alba, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Brașov, Cluj, Covasna, Harghita, Hunedoara, Mureș, and Sibiu. The largest cities in the region are Cluj-Napoca and Mureș. Other communities include Alba Iulia, Mediaș, Odorheiu Secuiesc, Reghin, Sibiu, Sighișoara, and Turda.
