States of Australia
AUSTRALIA has 8 states/territories on the mainland. They are... Australian Capital Territory, Jervis Bay Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia. Even though Tasmania isn't on the mainland (it's an island), it is considered an Australian state.
