Largest Lake in Poland

Located in northeastern POLAND, Jezioro Śniardwy is the largest lake of Poland. It is located in the southeastern part of the WARMIŃSKO-MAZURSKIE (Warmian-Masurian) province and is 50 miles east of Olsztyn, the province's capital. Jezioro Niegocin and Jezioro Mamry is north of the lake. Communities that surround Jezioro Śniardwy include Orzysz, Pisz, and Ruciane-Nida. The city of Ełk is about 25 miles east of the lake.
