Inn River

The Inn River is a tributary of the important Danube River in Central Europe. It flows predominantly through AUSTRIA, more specifically in the western 'panhandle' and as a part of the northern border with Germany. It originates in the Swiss Alps in eastern SWITZERLAND and flows into the Danube River at Austria's northern border. Fittingly, the city of Innsbruck is situated on the shores of the Inn River, in western Austria.
