Tornado Outbreak of 2011
Almost every region in the UNITED STATES seemed to have experienced at least one tornado or more. Unfortunately, in places like Joplin, MO and Tuscaloosa, AL, lethal tornadoes claimed the lives of hundreds. On May 25, a massive squall line of storms occurred in SE Illinois and Southern & Central Indiana; at one time, I counted that 25 Indiana counties were experiencing a tornado warning - around 10 at night - and it was a large tornado warning area. States like Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and California (I'm sure there were many more) experienced tornado warnings as well. On May 26, a storm system moved through the Northeastern states. Tornado warnings were issued in states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Vermont. Obviously, this is an infamously stormy Spring in the USA.
