Greenland Endangered Species

The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ for Greenland between Europe and North America lists one extinct species, one critically endangered species, and seven endangered species. The Great Auk bird is extinct, while the Blunt-Nose Rattail fish is extinct in Greenland. The following species are endangered: the American Eel, Common Rorqual baleen whale, Halibut fish, North Atlantic Right Whale, Pollack Whale, Pygmy Blue Whale, and Redfish.
