The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ for the Isle of Man in Northwestern Europe lists only one critically endangered and one endangered species. European Eels are critically endangered on the Isle of Man, and the Common Rorqual (Fin Whale) is endangered. Atlantic Cod fish (Gadus morhua) are vulnerable to population threats but are in no immediate danger.
