Malta Endangered Species
The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ for MALTA in Southern Europe (Mediterranean Sea) lists 9 critically endangered species and 10 endangered species. Malta's critically endangered species are the Balearic Shearwater bird, European Eel, Lampedusa melitensis elongated snail, Maltese Cliff Orache plant, Maltese Everlasting flower, Maltese Ray, Maltese Rock Centaury flower, Slender-billed Curlew, and Sociable Plover. Endangered species are the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna, Blackchin Guitarfish, Common Rorqual, Dusky Grouper, Egyptian Eagle, Giant Devil Ray, Lampedusa imitatrix elongated snail, Saker Falcon, White-headed Duck, and Yellow-breasted Bunting.
