On October 19th, Hoosiers brought out the umbrellas again and combated against the chilly, pouring-down rain. In addition, the weather consisted of strong winds and choppy waves on Lake Michigan, not to mention flooding here and there, as you can see by the wind-related advisories shown on the map at the left. A Wind Advisory was issued for many counties in Indiana. Along Lake Michigan, a High Wind Warning was issued for Lake & Porter counties while a Lakeshore Flood Advisory was issued for LaPorte county. To add to the misery, much of tomorrow might experience the same circumstances, but relief from cold temperatures, wind, and flooding is coming soon!Click on the map to view it larger in pop-up window
