Southwestern Perkins County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 645 PM MDT.

Update: the National Weather Service canceled this particular alert.

* At 558 PM MDT, a line of thunderstorm capable of producing
landspouts or tornadoes was located along a long from near Venango to
near Grant. The storms are nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Grant around 645 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Brandon.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 57 and 71.
