Iowa 2020 Caucus Results
Throughout the UNITED STATES election season in 2020, GeoFact of the Day will post state-by-state caucus, primary, and general election results. Here are the results of the Iowa Democratic Caucus as of 8 PM, Sunday February 9th in a convenient rectangle format. At the moment, Pete Buttigieg earned at least 13 delegates; Bernie Sanders earned at least 12. While my graphic notes that 100% of the votes were counted, there may be subtle discrepancies as Iowa and the Democratic Party are *still* trying to accurately count all votes in the Hawkeye State. Will Sanders be able to pull ahead of Buttigieg in the results? It is definitely possible and I will update this post if needed! These election results originate from the Des Moines Register newspaper and the New York Times.
