The counties impacted by a blizzard — corresponding to the Blizzard Warning issued by the National Weather Service — are Barnes, Benson, Bottineau, Cavalier, Dickey, Eddy, Foster, Grand Forks, Griggs, LaMoure, McHenry, Nelson, Pembina, Pierce, Ramsey, Ransom, Rolette, Sargent, Sheridan, Steele, Stutsman, Towner, Walsh, and Wells.
