Southeastern Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...
* Until 730 PM CDT.
* At 650 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Destin, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near...
Destin around 655 PM CDT.
Niceville around 720 PM CDT.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

* At 700 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles northwest of Wright to 4 miles east of
Navarre Beach, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Wright, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Destin, Eglin AFB,
Valparaiso, Mary Esther, Ocean City, Lake Lorraine, Shalimar, Cinco
Bayou and Navarre Beach.
