The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Northwestern Saginaw County in southeastern Michigan...
* Until 745 PM EDT.
* At 659 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Merrill, or 13 miles southwest of Midland, moving
east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Freeland around 720 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Swan
Creek, Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, Garfield, Shields and
