The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Western St. Charles County in east central Missouri...
East central Franklin County in east central Missouri...
Northwestern St. Louis County in east central Missouri...
* Until 515 PM CDT.
* At 437 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Wildwood, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near...
Defiance around 450 PM CDT.
Wildwood, Ballwin, Ellisville, Clarkson Valley, Spirit of St.
Louis Airport and Winchester around 500 PM CDT.
Weldon Spring Heights around 510 PM CDT.
O`Fallon, St. Peters, Chesterfield, Maryland Heights, Dardenne
Prairie, Town and Country, Weldon Spring, Cottleville and
Harvester around 515 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Matson.

State Capitol Historic Site.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 257 and 265.
Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 217 and 231.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
