The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
North central Washington County in northeastern Colorado...
South central Logan County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 400 PM MDT.
* At 335 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 6 miles north of Midway, or 14 miles northwest of
Akron, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Merino and Prewitt Reservoir.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
