The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
East central Wallace County in west central Kansas...
Southwestern Logan County in west central Kansas...
* Until 1015 PM MDT/1115 PM CDT/.
* At 946 PM MDT/1046 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm capable of
producing a tornado was located 7 miles southeast of Wallace, or 15
miles east of Sharon Springs, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
east central Wallace and southwestern Logan Counties.
