The National Weather Service in The Twin Cities has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Western Watonwan County in south central Minnesota...
* Until 730 PM CDT.
* At 656 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near St. James, or 23 miles southwest of New Ulm,
moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near...
St. James around 705 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Echols
and South Branch.
