For the following areas...
Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Craig Key out
20 nm...
Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood
Sound...

At 1025 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm with possible waterspouts was
located over Grecian Rocks, moving northeast at 5 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...National Weather Service Meteorologist.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, cause
considerable damage to vessels and create suddenly higher
waves. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly
higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours.

Locations in the warning include...
Buttonwood Sound, Dusenberry Creek, Mosquito Bank Light, Blackwater
Sound, French Ref, Grecian Rocks and Boggy Key.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor now, and remain there until
threatening weather has passed.

Intense and continuous lightning is occurring with this storm. If
caught on the open water, stay low or go below.

Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and
beyond 5 fathoms...

At 1024 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm with possible waterspouts was
located 7 nm west of Content Keys, moving northeast at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

* At 1012 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms with possible waterspouts were
located along a line extending from near Barnes Sound to 14 nm east
of Floyd`s Wall Southwest, moving east at 5 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
