Nauru Exports

According to MIT's Observatory of Economic Complexity (atlas.media.mit.edu), the following items are major exports of NAURU in the South Pacific Ocean: aluminum plating, calcium phosphates, chocolate, citrus fruit, coated and felt fabric garments, harvesting machinery, knit sweaters, leather apparel, motorcycles, "other coloring matter," scrap vessels, seafood (small amounts), and telephones. The phosphate mining industry experienced a booming period in the 1960s to 1980s, but nowadays the phosphate reserves are almost exhausted of its material. According to the International Monetary Fund (data.imf.org), countries and territories buying and importing most of those exports (February 2017 statistics) include Nigeria (top importer), Singapore, the United States, South Korea, the Philippines, Senegal, Tanzania, and Suriname.
