Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 is certainly a date that Americans will never forget, and for some it is a reminder of how their lives turned upside down. Many of us still remember where we were when we received news that hijacked airplanes destroyed both World Trade Center towers and much of the Pentagon, and when heroes on hijacked Flight 93 fought off the hijackers and did what they could to prevent the airplane from crashing. While the tragedies of 9/11 caused an emotional toll, we came together as a nation and helped each other see past the devastation. Let us never forget those who lost their lives and risked their lives eleven years ago today.
