Earth Day, Every Day

On Sunday, April 22nd, Earth Day is upon us in many countries, dedicating one day for environmental awareness and how we can take steps to really make the world a better place! It is vital to recognize that environmental protection is a crucial part in making sure that our world is livable for future generations. You can even say geography is crucial in making our world a wonderful place for millions of years to come! Geography is not just about pinpointing the beautiful places that earthlings are blessed with, but also the diverse people that live in them - and having a better appreciation for them. Geography is a visual subject that allows us to gain a more enriched knowledge about the world that we are commemorating on Earth Day; of course, we should be happy knowing that the world can be sustainable as long as we treat it something near and dear to us, rather than take it for granted.


What Are You Doing For Earth Day - And Every Day?
What steps are you taking this Sunday - and every day - to treat our beautiful Earth with more respect? It can range from recycling/reusing cans to getting a group together to plant thousands of trees! I hope, from this day forward, that I will spend less time on the computer and internet; don't worry, I'll still update my blog, but try to accomplish things in more of a timely manner and spend less time on time-consuming sites! This step would certainly save energy and give the Earth a little break - and give me more time to enjoy the Earth!
