Indiana Weather Update | March 23, 2012
The map to the left was updated at 5:45 PM. TORNADO WARNING was in effect for GREENE & MONROE counties until 6:45 PM. At 6:10, a funnel cloud was reported 3 miles northwest of Springville, IN. After creating my map, a TORNADO WATCH appeared for much of southern Indiana: visit the NWS Indianapolis site to see updates (link opens in new window). The tornado watch spans from southern Kentucky to CARROLL, HOWARD, & TIPPECANOE counties in northern Indiana. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch spans across much of western Indiana, stretching from POSEY, SPENCER, VANDERBURGH, & WARREN counties in the south to JASPER, NEWTON, & PULASKI in the north. Post updated 6:40 PM
