World War I Alliances

During World War I, many nations created alliances as you are probably already aware. Two of the alliances were the Triple Alliance and the Triple Entente. The Triple Alliance was comprised of AUSTRIA-HUNGARY, GERMANY, and ITALY. The Triple Entente was comprised of GREAT BRITAIN, FRANCE, and RUSSIA.
