Southwestern Indiana County Population

In southwestern Indiana, there are six rural counties with a population of less than 22,000. The more populated counties have cities in them. Vigo County (the NW green county in this map) has the county seat of Terre Haute, which has more than 60,000 residents. Monroe County (other green county) has the county seat of Bloomington, which has around 72,000 residents. Vanderburgh County, home of Evansville, had the largest population with 174,529, while Martin County was the lowest with 9,969.
