Weekly Highlight: May 31-June 6


The Chichen Itza Pyramid is part of a larger Mayan-built complex by the name same (Chichen Itza) in the Yucatan Peninsula of MEXICO. This site is listed as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I found a wonderful image of this pyramid on National Geographic's website. It was taken by Jeremy Williams.
