Dalmatian Islands

Off the west coast of CROATIA, the Dalmatian Islands consist of mainly elongated islands in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea. The two largest islands, which actually are the same size, are Cres and Krk (no vowels!). Other islands include Dugi Otok, Ugljan, Silba, Ilovik, Permuda, Pag, and many more.

By the way, the men's water polo team of Croatia defeated Italy's team with a score of 8-6 in the gold match at the London Summer Olympics (2012). Croatia won 3 gold medals, 1 silver, and 2 bronze at this year's Olympics.
