The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Grant County in west central Nebraska...
Southwestern Hooker County in west central Nebraska...
* Until 630 PM MDT.
* At 552 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 12 miles southwest of Hyannis, or 20 miles northwest of
Arthur, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near...
Hyannis around 610 PM MDT.
Whitman around 625 PM MDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Swede
Lake, Pratt Lake, Spring Valley Lake, Duluth and Cogill Lake.
