The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Eastern Smith County in central Mississippi...
* Until 145 AM CDT.
* At 1256 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Taylorsville, or 7 miles southwest of
Stringer, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Bay Springs around 115 AM CDT.
Pineville around 135 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Sylvarena, Montrose and Louin.
