FOR SOUTH CENTRAL MARSHALL...NORTHEASTERN MARION...NORTHWESTERN
MAHASKA AND JASPER COUNTIES...
At 719 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Baxter to Monroe, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Newton, Colfax, Monroe, Prairie City, Baxter, Rock Creek Lake, Iowa
Speedway, Sully, Kellogg, Lynnville, Laurel, Lambs Grove, Reasnor,
Prairie City Krohn Airport, Rock Creek State Park and Newton
Municipal Airport.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 156 and 177.
