According to National Geographic MapMaker (mapmaker.nationalgeographic.org), the following items are major exports of KUWAIT: cement and other construction materials, fertilizer, seafood (especially shrimp), natural gas, petrochemicals, petroleum and refined products, processed food, and ships. According to the International Monetary Fund (data.imf.org), countries and territories buying and importing most of those exports (February 2017 statistics) include South Korea (top importer), Japan, China, India, the United States, Singapore, Pakistan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, Egypt, Zambia, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Oman, Thailand, and Taiwan.
