Haiti Endangered Species


The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ for HAITI in North America currently lists 49 critically endangered species and 44 endangered species. Critically endangered species include several frog species (Apostates Robber, False Green Robber, and Rednose Robber frogs), Elkhorn and Staghorn Coral, Giant Hispaniolan Galliwasp lizard, Ricord's Rock Iguana, and Ridgway's Hawk. Endangered species include the American Eel, Baoruco Hammer Frog and Barahona Rock Frog, Boulder Star Coral, Green Turtle and Loggerhead Turtle, and Sei Whale.
