The capital is Port-au-Prince, which is the largest city. The second largest city is Cap-Haïtien (Cap Haitien). Other communities in Haiti include Anse-à-Galets (on Gonâve island), Carrefour, Fort-Liberté, Gonaïves, Hinche, Jacmel, Jean-Rabel, Les Anglais, Les Cayes, Marigot, Pétionville, Port-de-Paix, Saint-Marc, and Verrettes. Haiti's main islands are Gonâve, Grande Cayemite, Tortue (also known as Tortuga, or Tortoise), and Vache (Cow). Haiti's currency is the Haitian Gourde, and its ISO 4217 currency code is HTG.
