Angola Flag

A coastal country east of the Atlantic Ocean in Southern Africa, ANGOLA has a flag featuring two horizontal bands - the top one is red and the bottom is black. The size ratio is 2:3, and there is a yellow design comprised of three parts in the middle. A yellow star, partial cogwheel, and machete combine to form a socialist emblem, which dates back to a guerrilla movement in Angola followed by the governing party known as the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA).
