As of August 15th, 2014, the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ lists 8 critically endangered and 10 endangered species in BARBADOS, a country located in the bow-shaped Lesser Antilles island chain at the eastern edge of the Caribbean Sea. The eight critically endangered species are the Atlantic Goliath Grouper, Elkhorn Coral, Eskimo Curlew bird, Hawksbill Turtle, Smalltooth Sawfish, Staghorn Coral, Warsaw Grouper (Black Grouper), and Atya brachyrhinus shrimp.
