Indiana Weather Update
Three of the Indiana counties in the previous post (LaPorte, Porter, and Starke) are still under a Lake Effect Snow Watch. Saint Joseph County does not have a watch anymore because the lake effect snow band will mainly affect areas to the west. A Lake Effect Snow WARNING is for Lake County in Indiana and Cook County in Illinois, where Chicago is, and a Lake Effect Snow Advisory is for Will County, IL: the lake effect snow band will affect these counties the most. Counties in Central, Eastern, Southeastern, and Southern Indiana have a Winter Weather Advisory issued by the NWS of Indianapolis. Cities like Indianapolis, Evansville, Bedford, Bloomington, Columbus, Jasper, Muncie, Princeton, and Seymour should expect several inches of snow that may be severely blown around by the wind.
