Basics About Nauru


NAURU, the smallest island country in the world, once contained the world's largest deposits of phosphates and was once a rather prosperous nation. Unfortunately, Nauru's deposits of the valuable substance and the country's monetary fortunes are completely depleted. Nauru is located in the Pacific Ocean, east of Papua New Guinea and west of the U.S. state of Hawaii. Learn more by visiting my Nauru post!
