Found on every inhabited continent besides Australia, there are 18 countries that start with B. Africa possesses four 'B' countries: BENIN, BOTSWANA, BURKINA FASO, & BURUNDI. Update: While Bujumbura in Burundi is still considered an economic center, Gitega became Burundi's new national capital in 2019.
The continent with the most 'B' countries (five), Asia, contains BAHRAIN, BANGLADESH, BHUTAN, BRUNEI, and BURMA (which is also known as Myanmar).
Like Africa, Europe has four 'B' countries: BELARUS, BELGIUM, BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA, and BULGARIA.
In North America, The BAHAMAS, BARBADOS (Caribbean island located east of St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines), and BELIZE are the 'B' countries.
Lastly, BOLIVIA and BRAZIL are the 'B' countries of South America.
