Micronesia Exports
According to MIT's Observatory of Economic Complexity (atlas.media.mit.edu), the following items are major exports of the Federated States of MICRONESIA: baskets and other handicrafts, bathroom ceramics, broadcasting equipment, chemical analysis instruments, computers, coral and shells, electric motors, electric power accessories, fish fillets, footwear, knit men’s shirts, legumes, mollusks, netting, non-fillet frozen fish, non-knit women’s suits, nucleic acids, processed food, scrap aluminum, scrap copper, scrap iron, and telephones. According to the International Monetary Fund (data.imf.org), countries and territories buying and importing most of those exports (February 2017 statistics) include Indonesia (top importer), Thailand, Guam, the United States, the Philippines, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Marshall Islands, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Malaysia, Netherlands Antilles, Pakistan, and Palau.
