Malta Exports
According to MIT's Observatory of Economic Complexity (atlas.media.mit.edu), the following items are major exports of MALTA: aircraft parts, automobiles, baking yeast, bathroom fixtures, broadcasting equipment, bulbs, citrus fruit, coffee, decorative glass spheres, dried legumes, fish fillets, flavored water, footwear, gold, headphones, heterocyclic compounds, integrated circuits, jewelry, lettuce, low- and high-voltage protection equipment, malt extract, medical instruments and supplies, microphones, models, pharmaceuticals (including hormones), plastic and rubber products, postage stamps, potatoes, processed food, refined petroleum, rubberized knitted fabric (for tarps, etc.), scrap iron, semiconductor devices, sorghum, stuffed animals, sunflower seeds, and wheat. According to the International Monetary Fund (data.imf.org), countries and territories buying and importing most of those exports (February 2017 statistics) include Germany (top importer), Italy, France, Singapore, the United States, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Libya, Switzerland, Spain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, China, Oman, South Korea, Canada, the Netherlands, Venezuela, Belgium, Mexico, Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden, and Lesotho.
