Kazakhstan Endangered Species


The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ for KAZAKHSTAN in central Asia lists 18 critically endangered species and 21 endangered species. Kazakhstan's critically endangered species include the European Mink, Great Sturgeon, Persian Sturgeon, Saiga, Slender-billed Curlew, Sociable Plover, and Two-humped Camel. Endangered species include the Asiatic Wild Dog, Caspian Seal, Egyptian Eagle, Mongolian Wild Horse, Shrubby Buckwheat, Snow Leopard, and Wild Apricot.
