Frigid Weather Across America Continues

Even though the United States is still technically in the season of fall, many areas in the country are breaking record low temperatures for this time of year. As a harbinger of what winter typically brings, there is a Winter Storm Warning with frigid temperatures and at least 3-5 inches of snow with possible sleet. This warning stretches from southeast Missouri's Boot Heel region through counties along the Ohio River and the Ohio River Valley in southern Illinois, southern Indiana, northern Kentucky, and southwestern Ohio. The western fringe of this warning will fortunately expire at 6 A.M. Monday Central Time, while the rest of the warning is expected to expire at noon Monday.
