There are TORNADO WARNINGS in five states in the United States: Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio, & North Carolina (at 6:43 PM Eastern Time).
Illinois/Indiana: VERMILION county in eastern Illinois and FOUNTAIN, PARKE, & VERMILLION counties in Indiana
Ohio: WARREN & CLINTON counties
Minnesota: STEARNS, SHELBURNE, WRIGHT counties
North Carolina: DURHAM (central; includes the city of Durham), GRANVILLE (southwest), & WAKE (northern)
In addition, tornado watches are in effect in SE Indiana, N Kentucky, W West Virginia, SW/S Ohio, six counties in NW Iowa, RICHLAND county in North Dakota, and eastern South Dakota at 6:37 PM Eastern Time
