The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
West central Caddo Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Southeastern Marion County in northeastern Texas...
Northeastern Harrison County in northeastern Texas...
* Until 115 AM CST.
* At 1234 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Karnack, or 11 miles northeast of
Marshall, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Oil City and Mooringsport around 1255 AM CST.
Blanchard around 100 AM CST.
Belcher around 110 AM CST.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Dixie,
Uncertain, Caddo Lake, Bethany, Cavett, Leigh and Scottsville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
