According to National Geographic MapMaker (mapmaker.nationalgeographic.org), the following items are major exports of SLOVAKIA: artificial fibers, automobiles and their parts, base metal, beverages, ceramics, chemicals, chocolate, clothing and textiles, coal, copper, electrical equipment, furniture, grain, hops, iron, machinery, manganese, medical devices, medical supplies, metal products, packaged food, paper products, plastic, potatoes, refined petroleum, rubber products, salt, sugar beets, sunflower seeds, telecommunications devices, televisions, and tomatoes. According to the International Monetary Fund (data.imf.org), countries and territories buying and importing most of those exports (February 2017 statistics) include Germany (top importer), Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Poland, France, Austria, Hungary, Italy, the United States, the Netherlands, Spain, Romania, Russia, China, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Turkey, Denmark, Slovenia, and Croatia.
