Tuvalu
TUVALU is an island country located about halfway between Australia and Hawaii. It is part of the subregion Polynesia. Tuvalu is north of Fiji and east of the Solomon Islands. The capital is Funafuti, a coral atoll with the main islet being Fongafale. Featuring national government offices, the community of Vaiaku is located on Fongafale. The official languages are Tuvaluan and English. Tuvalu's currency is the Tuvaluan Dollar, which does not have an ISO 4217 currency code like most currencies have. TVD is one unofficial currency code. Tuvaluans also conduct monetary transactions with the Australian Dollar.
