Prince Edward Island, located in Eastern Canada, is the smallest Canadian province. It is north of the Northumberland Strait and Nova Scotia, south of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, east of the Kouchibouguac Bay and New Brunswick, and west of Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Island. Besides the largest island - Prince Edward Island - there are several small islands within the province as well. Located on the southern shore of Prince Edward Island, the capital is Charlottetown.
