The previous Indiana counties with mosquitoes that tested positive for the West Nile Virus are Adams, Allen, Clinton, Grant, Hamilton, Jefferson, Knox, Kosciusko, Montgomery, Starke, Vanderburgh, and Vigo. Ripley County is the first and so far the only county with a confirmed human infection. As of this post, there are four more counties with West Nile Virus in some mosquitoes. They are DeKalb, Steuben, Sullivan, and Tippecanoe. To be reassuring, most of the mosquitoes in these counties do not have the WNV. As with previous posts, I suggest you visit the arboviral disease map from the Indiana State Department of Health, the original info source for the map I made.
